Drama Raves Pt. 1: While You Were Sleeping

Korean name: 당신이 잠든 사이에 aka 당잠사

What can I say about this drama? It's a masterpiece. Other people's opinions might differ, but I am easily swayed, especially if it involves Suzy, Lee Jong Suk, an OST that requires you to own a bucket so you could cry in it (advice: don't get the OST and save it on your phone... please just don't), and the pursuit of justice (with a touch of romance that makes you squeal and fangirl so much).

For those who aren't so familiar with the drama, or have just started getting into watching dramas... 'While You Were Sleeping' is a South-Korean drama that consists of a girl called Nam Hong Joo, played by our Suzy, who can foresee the future in her dreams, but these are all tragic, and so a prosecutor called Jae Chan (Jong Suk!) tries to stop her dreams from happening and coming true. They basically end up forming a duo to prevent these tragedies.

This drama was probably one of the most hottest ones to air during 2017 since every episode was anticipated by every drama watcher. I mean I did - I went home from uni every Wednesdays and Thursdays looking forward to the next episode. Of course, I did work first (lol no).

The chemistry between these two is just too much...

There were so many stories in the episodes and every one seemed to intertwine and connect with the previous... Due to that, I was gripping the seat of the sofa while I watched on the TV. It didn't really help that there were some episodes that ended on a cliffhanger. A damn cliffhanger.

This drama is definitely worth re-watching, which I might do since I'm starting to forget what happened. Watchers also can't help but feel a sense of anger towards the antagonists because sometimes they get away with their wrongdoings. I was literally screaming at the TV or my laptop, forgetting the fact that it was about 1 am. There's something about the night where you just feel like over-indulging in what you like doing; in my case, watching dramas.

I may or may not have fallen for Jung Hae In as well...
